Backyard Fun Pools

With a mild winter, we expect to see pools turning green, possibly early in the year, well before we even begin pool openings.  With 70 degree days in the winter, pools will start to use the winterizing chemicals that were intended to hold the pool over until the opening.  For this reason, it would be a good idea to be proactive and take advantage of one of those warmer days to perform a quick check of your chemical levels.

Additionally, if you have a pool with a tile border, you will want to check your water level to be sure it has not reached the tiles.  If water reaches the tile and freezes, the tiles will pop off and need to be repaired in the spring.
